CCEDARFALL Player Guide

PvP and alliances

Player-versus-player battles and alliances are not built yet. Here is what is promised.

Last updated 30 October 2026

Principles we are building to

  • Newbie protection: new players are shielded while they find their feet.
  • Offline safety: being logged out must not be a reason to lose your keep.
  • No pay-to-win: Cedar Marks never buy combat power. See Cedar Marks and the Store.
  • Fair fights: troops on the road cannot also defend, and fights are resolved by the same seeded, server-run rules as today.

NPC cities: a live exception

The realm also holds a few NPC cities, tagged "(NPC)" on the map. They are run by the server: they build, train troops and send out raids and gathering parties on their own, and they never attack anyone. You can raid them for resources.

  • Tap an NPC city on the map and choose Raid. The fight is against the troops it has at home when you arrive, and the server decides the result.
  • On a win your survivors carry home 20 percent of each stockpile, up to what they can carry. The loot is added to your stores when your force gets back.
  • A plundered city is shielded for a while, so it cannot be farmed over and over. You cannot raid it until the shield ends.
  • Defenders you kill stay dead until the NPC trains more. Troops you lose are gone.

What you can do now

You can already scout other keeps on the map and see their public information. The Rally Hall is planned to support alliance rallies later. Outposts also carry a defence value that is shown for the future.
