CCEDARFALL Player Guide

Chat and friends

Public chat, friend requests, direct messages, blocks, and reports.

Public chat

The realm channel is open to everyone. The faction channel is visible only to players in your faction. Public chat requires a verified account that is at least ten minutes old. Choose Settings → Social → Public chat to hide chat or stop your own posts. Messages are plain text; links, contact details, and abusive language are not allowed. Public chat is limited to one message per 30 seconds across both channels.

Friends and direct messages

Send a friend request by entering the exact display name. You can accept, decline, or cancel requests, and remove a friend later. Direct messages are available only between mutual friends. New incoming friend messages also appear in Settings → System Inbox; opening the conversation marks them read. Incoming friend requests appear there too and link to the Friends tab. Public realm and faction chat remains in its channel rather than being copied into each player’s inbox.

Blocks and reports

Blocking a player removes the friendship and any pending requests. You will no longer see each other's public chat or direct messages, and neither player is notified about the block. Use Report on a player or message to send a report to the Cedarfall moderation team. You can also block the reported player with the same action.
